General list of documents required for export customs clearance of personal belongings:
Notarized power of attorney + 2 notarized copies – this document is required only for road or sea freight
For air cargo clearance, the sender's personal presence at customs is mandatory
Copies of passport, Russian visa, Moscow/Moscow Region registration, and work permit, certified with the employer company's seal
Letter from the employer company to the Russian customs authorities (text will be provided)
List of books being shipped (the list must include the book title, author's name, publisher name, and year of publication)
Copy of flight ticket
Original temporary import obligation letter
General list of documents required for export customs clearance of a vehicle:
Notarized power of attorney + 2 notarized copies (text will be provided)
Letter from the employer company to the Russian customs authorities (text will be provided)
Copies of passport, Russian visa, Moscow/Moscow Region registration, and work permit, certified with the employer company's seal
Original vehicle registration certificate
Copy of the vehicle passport (PTS) prior to deregistration, certified with the employer company's seal
Original temporary import certificate
Please note that the vehicle must be deregistered for the purpose of export abroad, not for sale.
Customs clearance of cultural items and items of cultural value:
If the shipment contains paintings, musical instruments (pianos, plucked instruments), sculptures, decorative and applied art objects, samovars, hand-made carpets, collections, religious cult objects, etc., or items older than 50 years, export permits of the prescribed form must be obtained from the Ministry of Culture.
Items older than 100 years (except books) are generally prohibited from export from Russia. The exception applies only to items that were registered upon import into Russia.

Articles made of precious metals and stones
Money
Pornographic materials
General list of documents required to extend the Re-export Obligation:
Power of attorney on the employer company's letterhead signed by the General Director or a notarized power of attorney (text will be provided)
Letter addressed to customs on the employer company's letterhead signed by an authorized person
Copy of the new visa certified with the employer's seal
